The Best Gluten-Free Events Happening This Spring
From gluten-free expos to holiday parties to baseball games and more!
There are so many upcoming gluten-free events that I had to send out a bonus issue this week to let you know about them! Ahead, check out what’s on deck this spring.
1. Purim party at Thyme & Tonic (NYC)
One of my favorite gluten-free restaurants in New York City, is hosting a Purim party on Thursday, March 13. You can sign up here:
2. GFree Fest (Providence, Rhode Island)
Rhode Island’s gluten-free festival (featuring 90+ vendors!) is taking place on Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23. Tickets are almost sold out, but some are still available, so act soon if you don’t have yours yet. Buy tickets here.
3. Wicked Gluten-Free (Connecticut + Pennsylvania)
The next Wicked Gluten-Free expo is in Connecticut at Mohegan Sun on Saturday, March 29. After that, they’ll be hosting an expo in Philadelphia on Saturday, May 17. I’ve been to two previously and always have a great time chatting with the vendors and trying new products. Tickets for both are selling quickly, but you can still grab yours here.
4. Celiac Awareness Night at Fenway Park (Boston)
If you love baseball, this one’s for you: The Red Sox are hosting Celiac Awareness Night on Saturday, May 17 at Fenway Park in Boston. There will be a special pregame ceremony honoring celiac advocates, and a small portion of each ticket will be donated to the Celiac Disease Foundation. (Side note: What do I have to do to get The Mets to host something like this??) Buy tickets here.
5. Celiac Disease Family Fun Day (Long Island)
Yet another event taking place on May 17 (why do all of the gluten-free events happen on the same day?!): Celiac Disease Family Fun Day on Long Island. This one is hosted by Community4Celiac and benefits celiac disease research for Cohen’s Children Medical Center - Northwell Health. Buy tickets here and get more info below:
6. Gluten-Freedom Fest (Pennsylvania)
Safe&Sweet Keto Bakery is hosting a gluten-free event at the Rotunda at Lauxmont Farms in York County, Pennsylvania, on Sunday, April 6. There will be a variety of local gluten-free vendors in attendance. Buy tickets here.
7. Gluten-Free Expo (Calgary, Canada)
Canada’s largest gluten-free expo is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 in Calgary, followed by an expo in Vancouver on Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8. You’ll get to try gluten-free products from lots of local businesses we don’t have here in the US. Buy tickets to the Calgary expo here.
