7 Best Gluten-Free Finds From Shark Tank
My favorite comfort show has introduced me to some of my favorite comfort foods.
I’ll admit it: Shark Tank is one of my favorite TV shows. I often watch new episodes on Friday nights when they air live and fall asleep to reruns. What can I say, it’s my comfort show.
As a marketing professional (yes, I do have a day job outside of writing this newsletter!), I enjoy seeing entrepreneurs pitch their businesses and share the backstories of why they created the products that they did—plus, the banter between the sharks is highly entertaining, IMHO.
Beyond that, though, I’ve found some of my favorite household products on Shark Tank. I mean, hello, the Scrub Daddy became famous from being on this show! Plus, I’ve even discovered quite a few delicious gluten-free gems along the way. Keep reading for the best gluten-free finds I’ve tried from Shark Tank.
Best gluten-free finds from Shark Tank
1. Goodlove Foods
I first learned about this gluten-free company at the Wicked Gluten-Free Expo last year, where I had the chance to sample (and fall in love) with their product lineup. Naturally, I was thrilled when they recently announced their appearance on a new episode of Shark Tank (it just aired March 7).
Goodlove Foods offers frozen, ready-to-bake gluten-free cinnamon rolls, buttermilk biscuits, pizza crusts, and puff pastry—things I’m way too lazy to ever make from scratch. No wonder shark Lori Greiner gave them a deal. Shop on goodlovefoods.com.
2. Nowhere Bakery
If you know me, you know I love my gluten-free baked goods—but, some of the ones I’ve tried are a little too sweet for my tastes. Enter Nowhere Bakery, an online gluten-free bakery that makes healthier versions of cookies, brownies, and blondies. All of the baked goods are made with real ingredients (think: almond butter, maple sugar, dark chocolate) and free of refined sugars.
After hearing founder Saphira Rasti share more about her inspiration for launching this brand—she had gut issues and multiple food intolerances—in a 2024 episode of Shark Tank, I immediately purchased a sampler box and can understand why Barbara Corcoran invested in the company. Shop on nowherebakery.com.
3. Deux
Deux has blown up in the past few years—in large part due to founder Sabeena Ladha’s appearance on Shark Tank in 2021. While Ladha ultimately didn’t get a deal, shark Robert Herjavec did say she was "one of the most impressive entrepreneurs that's stood on that stage.”
ICYMI, Deux sells gluten-free, vegan cookie doughs enhanced with functional ingredients. You can eat the doughs raw (my preferred method) or bake them. I love the Chocolate Chip, Gooey Brownie, and Birthday Cake flavors. Bonus: The brand even makes mini donut holes now. Shop on eatdeux.com.
4. Oat Haus
I’ve been obsessed with Oat Haus, a line of gluten-free, nut-free, vegan granola butters, ever since I saw founder Ali Bonar on a 2021 episode of Shark Tank. Although the company didn’t get a deal from any sharks, their business is still thriving—and for good reason.
All of the granola butters are made with gluten-free oats and other good-for-you ingredients like olive oil. I like adding their butters on top of yogurt, gluten-free oatmeal, or a gluten-free English muffin. Shop on oathaus.com.
5. Pipcorn
Pipcorn appeared on Shark Tank way back in 2014 (they scored an investment from Barbara Corcoran)—years before I was diagnosed with celiac disease and adhering to a gluten-free lifestyle. While watching reruns during the pandemic, I came across this gluten-free brand and knew I had to try their crunchy snacks made from heirloom corn.
Products include cheddar cheese balls, cheddar cheese crunchies, corn dippers, mini popcorn (sea salt and truffle flavors!), heirloom fries, and cinnamon twists. Shop on pipsnacks.com.
6. Pan’s Mushroom Jerky
Jerky is one of my go-to snacks to keep stashed in my bag—but I’m always looking for ways to cut down on my meat consumption. That’s why I was so intrigued when I watched the 2020 episode of Shark Tank featuring Pan’s Mushroom Jerky and brand founder Michael Pan.
I knew this mushroom jerky had to be good—multiple sharks wanted to make a deal with Pan, who ultimately accepted Mark Cuban’s offer—and I was delighted to learn that all of the flavors were gluten-free. I like Teriyaki and Applewood BBQ best. Shop on mushroomjerky.com.
7. Ghia
Since I quit drinking a few years ago, I’ve been on the hunt for the best-tasting gluten-free non-alcoholic drinks. One of the first options I tried was Ghia, a non-alcoholic aperitif that can be used to make amazing Mediterranean-inspired spritzes. I’m also a big fan of the canned spritzes, especially Ghia Soda and Ghia Ginger
Then, in 2023, Ghia’s founder Melanie Masarin pitched her company to the sharks in a Season 14 episode. Although she didn’t get a deal from any of the sharks, the sober curious movement doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. Shop on drinkghia.com.
Other gluten-free products on Shark Tank
I’ve tried and tested all of the gluten-free finds above, but they aren’t the only ones to appear on Shark Tank. Below are a few others I haven’t had a chance to sample yet.
Copper Cow Coffee: For my caffeine lovers out there, Copper Cow Coffee offers premium Vietnamese coffee you can enjoy at home. They have latte kits, ground coffee, and single-serve coffee packets so you can get your caffeine fix however you prefer. All of the coffees and creamers and naturally gluten-free.
Rule Breaker Snacks: Snacks that are free of the top 11 allergens? That’s exactly what you can find with Rule Breaker Snacks. Their cookies don’t contain wheat/gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, dairy, soy, sesame, coconut, mustard, fish, or shellfish—so they satisfy many people’s dietary needs in one product.
Snacklins: Made from yuca, mushrooms, and onions, these meat-free pork rinds were a hit on Shark Tank in 2019, with the company nabbing an investment from Mark Cuban. Flavors include sea salt, barbeque, nacho, and cinnamon churro—and all are thankfully gluten-free.
Kiosco: Formerly known as Toast-It when they appeared on Shark Tank in 2023, Kiosco was created by two Venezuelan sisters who wanted to share their culture’s food. They accepted a deal from guest shark Daniel Lubetzky to help expand their gluten-free offerings, which include yuca areaps, corn arepas, chia arepas, and pandebono bites. They’re currently available in Publix, Walmart, and Whole Foods across the Southeastern US.
Have you tried any of the gluten-free finds on this list? What are your favorite products—food or otherwise—from Shark Tank? Let me know in the comments!
I love it too! Such a fun theme to write about 🤩
Fun! I haven't heard of any of these brands except the Pipcorn, my kiddos love that brand. I will have to take a closer look at some of them.
