Yum! This is getting me in the mood for an Italian adventure. My favorite Italian dish is usually pizza or pasta. One day I’d love to try to make tiramisu!
New here too! Can’t wait to try the recipe for pizza. My favorite gf Italian dish is spaghetti and meatballs. I love the gf Jovial pasta for my family (I use zoodles to keep it lower carb for me) and instead of bread crumbs in the meatballs I use crushed pork rinds. Yum!
I love to make gf Italian bread/rolls. The smell of fresh bread is so inviting and easy helps rescue any dinner that didn’t turn out the way I intended. GF can go from magic to mush so quickly that a nice bread just helps sweeten any dinner with a table full of family. I am always on the lookout for more homemade bread recipes and can’t wait to try this pizza crust :) Thank you!
I have yet to master GF pizzelle cookies, my daughter and I make them every year for the neighbors but I’ve been making with regular flour. I love chicken parmigiana and have a variation I make gluten free. I usually use chickpea pasta or zoodles for the spaghetti
I’m a pasta gal, and my favourite Italian recipe that I’ve made gf is simply spaghetti. I enjoy adding some pieces of chicken to the sauce to make it a little heartier. Ziti used to be my favourite, but alas, I haven’t found gf ziti noodles. I have a pasta maker, so perhaps someday I’ll find a recipe for them.
I would have to say my favorite dish to make gluten-free (that tastes just as good) is peanut butter pie! GF graham cracker crust is just as delicious!
Christina, thank you so much for the post and your kind words of support! I am so excited to get a copy of my new cookbook to one of your readers!!
XOXO

Italy is definitely the best place in the world to travel for gluten-free food! And yum, gluten-free tiramisu sounds great!

Thanks for joining me here! I'm a big fan of Jovial as well - and what a great tip for gluten-free meatballs. That sounds delicious!

Yum! You are spot-on about how GF can go from magic to mush - had that happen a number of times when trying to make pasta!
Also, new to the celiac self care side of the world! I didn’t know this existed ❤️ thank you @anna vocino for pointing the way here

GF pizzelle cookies sound great - and so does chicken parm! I like the idea of using zoodles for the spaghetti!

Yum! I do love gluten-free pasta too. My favorite store bought brand is Jovial—the penne holds up pretty well!
i don't have an Italian one but i sure would love one for Italian cookies that were both GF and vegan
Those both sound delicious!
