To be honest I had never even heard of Hop water. But then I do not like the taste of beer. These sound like great options for those that are GF and want that beer taste. Do you think they would work well in recipes that call for beer? I am always looking for a good gluten free substitute
It's definitely a very niche product! That's a great question about recipe substitutions. I wonder if @Rachel Ciordas or @Christi Flaherty would know given their cooking and baking expertise. I would think you could probably replace beer with sparkling water but they would probably know for sure how it would affect the recipe!
Some hop waters are great. I picked up the Lagunitas last night and I love my Sarilla Hoppy Hibiscus!! I don’t love the taste of beer and the hop waters are much lighter. Also hops are great for women’s hormone balance.
I am in NYC! You are so sweet! I’ll DM you later so we can stay in touch as I do cover NA beverages for some of my freelance writing clients as well. :)
Great round up! Thank you for including me.
Thanks for your commentary as always! I'm excited to try some new-to-me hop waters now.
I’m so excited to try this! I haven’t drank alcohol in over a decade.
Yay! I think you will love hop water. Hopefully you find some new favorite NA drinks from this list!
I’ve tried one flavor of Hop Water but didn’t love it. I think because it just tasted like a flavored seltzer. I would like to try the Lavu it’s.
I would definitely recommend Lagunitas or Hoplark 0.0 for more of a “beer” and less of just a flavored seltzer taste!
I will have to try and find some up here in Alberta, Canada. I’ve never heard of it before.
It’s a very light and refreshing drink! Hopefully you can find some of the more mainstream brands (like Lagunitas and Athletic Brewing) in Canada!
Yessss Hop Water is the best!
I'm obsessed!

Love it!! I’m going to check out Sarilla and see if I can find that brand in my area!
Sounds good! Where are you located? We also have them for sale and I'd be happy to send you a sample.

I’m obsessed with hop water and, of course, with Derek Brown.
Yes!!! What are your fave hop waters?
Lagunitas hoppy refresher is my all time fave. I love Hoplark too, and had a can of Hike’s last night with a few drops of alcohol free bitters.
Nice!! I’m excited to try Hike’s hop water (planning on placing an order soon)
Fun! I’ve seen this on more and more menus and tried a few- I’m a fan!
Love that it’s becoming more common to see on menus!
