Fall is my favorite time of year—and one of the main reasons why is that I love all of the pumpkin- and apple-flavored treats available this season. There are so many good gluten-free seasonal products on the market, I wanted to share my top five selections with you. And, I’ve also included a bonus gluten-free dessert recipe from one of my favorite brands!
The best gluten-free treats for fall
1. Oat Haus Apple Cider Donut Granola Butter
I’m obsessed with the granola butter from Oat Haus, which is made with gluten-free oats. The brand’s latest limited-edition flavor is apple cider donut—and trust me when I tell you it’s delicious. Although I enjoy eating it by the spoonful, it’s also an excellent companion to vanilla yogurt, gluten-free toast, and apples. The brand has also released an apple cider donut granola, which is perfect for breakfast!
2. Good Hope Bakery Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie
I met the founders of this Utah-based gluten-free bakery at the recent My Gluten-Free World Expo. I tried a variety of their cookies and was very impressed by the taste and texture of all of them. One of the standouts was their fall special: pumpkin chocolate chip. I liked this flavor so much, I bought extras at the expo to take home with with me.
3. Katz Gluten-Free Cider Donuts
Nothing screams fall quite like apple cider donuts—and if you’re gluten-free, you can get your hands on a satisfying version of this treat thanks to Katz. These cider donuts are also nut-free, soy-free, and dairy-free, making them the perfect choice for those with multiple dietary restrictions.
4. Sweet Loren’s Salted Caramel Chocolate Cookie Dough
Besides apple and pumpkin, caramel is another quintessential fall flavor. I don’t know about you, but I’m often too tired to make cookies from scratch—so for many holidays and special occasions, I rely on Sweet Loren’s pre-cut cookie dough for an easy dessert. My current go-to is this caramel chocolate chip offering.
5. Nespresso Maple Pecan Coffee
I’m an avid coffee drinker, and I currently can’t get enough of the limited-edition maple pecan flavor from Nespresso. Per the company, all of Nespresso’s capsules are free of gluten, dairy, nuts, soy, and eggs. I like to pair my coffee with Nutpods Pumpkin Spice Creamer for an extra dose of fall flavor.

Gluten-free air fryer apple crisp a la mode
XO Marshmallow is a premier gourmet marshmallow company with a super-cute cafe in Chicago. All of their marshmallows are 100% gluten-free, and their production facility and cafe are both gluten-free and peanut-free.
The brand shared this genius fall recipe with me, which can be made in the air fryer (my most-used kitchen appliance):
Ingredients:Â
For the filling:
1 teaspoon unsalted butter
2 cups diced apples (the more variety the better!)
¼ cup water
½ tablespoon granulated sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
A pinch of salt
For the crisp topping:
2 tablespoon rolled oats (Editor’s note: Zego makes purity protocol gluten-free rolled oats)
2 tablespoons gluten-free flour
2 tablespoons crushed XO Marshmallow gluten-free graham crackers
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
A la mode:
1 pint of XO Marshmallow Vanilla OMG
Optional: a sprinkle of cinnamon
Optional: a drizzle of caramel sauce
Directions:
Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees F. Spray or butter two oven-safe ramekins.Â
For the filling: Combine all ingredients (butter, apples, water, sugar, cinnamon, and salt) in a small bowl, then evenly spread into the ramekins.Â
Place the ramekins into the air fryer for 10 minutes. Remove to stir, then place back in for another 10 minutes. If you find the apples are browning too quickly, simply cover with aluminum foil.Â
Meanwhile, make the Crisp Topping: combine all ingredients (oats, flour, graham crackers, brown sugar, melted butter) in a small bowl, using your hands or a fork, until nice and crumbly.Â
After the apple filling has cooked for 20 minutes, sprinkle the topping over the top and cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.Â
Remove the ramekins from the fryer and allow to cool slightly.Â
Using a cookie scoop, dollop a scoop of vanilla OMG onto each serving. Optionally: toast with a small culinary torch and service with caramel sauce.
